B.B.‘s Influence

This one is it. I uploaded a video which demonstrates my playing. While it’s not that great, for me its really, really great and I could not play at all this well before this video. I have also learned more from Anthony than any other guitar teacher in my life. Thanks!

You have to give Anthony extra praise for this one. Normally a Texas blues person, he does an amazing job at teaching the essentials of the B.B. style. Absolutely sweet major/minor riffs that are pieced together in very B.B. like phrasing. This is another must have lesson from Anthony.

This makes you play like B.B. for sure. Anthony’s instruction is so easy to follow and precise. I love this series. Now I wish that he will put out a John Mayer blues lesson someday!

This is my favorite lesson series. There is a lot of instructional material available for The King and this is at the top of the heap. There’s the excellent production quality and teaching style that we’ve come to expect from StevieSnacks. In addition, the solos are a lot of fun to play and they capture the seemingly simple essence of B.B. King’s style.

I’ve been watching Anthony’s free lessons since he started. This was my first intro into his full lessons. Let me sum up my thoughts… Wow! Cool! Anthony’s approach to breaking down everything is one of the best I’ve seen and I’ve been playing a very long time! Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced player there is something in here for everyone. I highly recommend “any” of Anthony’s lessons. I sure wish I had something like this when I first started to learn.

Anthony provides all the tools necessary for an in-depth understanding of the style of the great B.B. King. Lessons are provided in both standard and Eb tuning. Supplemental material only had Eb tuning, but I contacted Anthony and he quickly provided the backing tracks and examples in standard tuning. Well worth the price. This is my first purchase from Anthony and I will be looking at more of his material to expand my knowledge base. So glad you decided to make this your full time occupation.

This one gives an instant insight into how BBK plays, his riffs and cool bends & vibrato. Shows what box works best and how to connect the actual flow of the solo to get that overall BBK flavor. Knowing this allowed me to quickly take several BBK tunes I wanted to play and play them with little effort once I grasped what and how he does it. Simple but beautiful. Slow blues at its best.

Been travelling last few days and finally got to sit down with the BB lessons. Fabulous. Love the new sounds I am now able to make thanks to your input. I also love the high quality and detail of the explanations, just so easy to grasp. You are a great teacher.

Just purchased the BB king package and all I can say is, “Outstanding”. Some of your best work yet. I purchase your stuff because it’s the right thing to do to support you. But it’s always nice when you can say that you’re happy with the things you pay for. As is the case with all of your videos, I am more than satisfied, I am amazed. Very well done!

I just downloaded BB’s and watched the demo for lesson 1. Fabulous!!! It made me cry. Can’t wait to dig in.

This is by far one of the most rewarding lessons I’ve had…..I have been an avid fan of B.B.’s and have never really appreciated the genius in his playing till I did this lesson. I think it is the best way to combine major + minor chords the way you’ve always said. Many notes come out very sweet.
