The Hendrix version of Little Wing has a few cool elements that Stevie Ray Vaughan didn't use. In this video I'll cover two of these elements that are based on the same concept of playing consecutive two note chords, while holding one of the notes constant.

In this lesson, we take a look at some cool hammer-ons that Stevie Ray Vaughan played in the song Little Wing. These hammer-ons take place at 2:25, right at the end of a solo chorus. I played this wrong for over 15 years, but through teaching this song to a local student, I figured out a better way to play it that sounds closer to the original.
